General Information:  A Three day wilderness float trip plus the accommodations of a five star fly fishing resort
  The Argentina Combination Excursion is the perfect way to experience the best of Argentina and the fishing this spectacular country offers.  Your adventure will begin with a short stay in the city of Buenos Aires as we discover the exquisite culture, food and history this great city has to offer.  From there, your next destination is Bariloche, situated at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains, Bariloche is the perfect destination to start our expedition.  After a great dinner and overnight in Bariloche, you will begin a three day float trip either on the Calefu or Collon Cura River.  Your float trip will be an  adventure you will not soon forget!  Fly fish all day and evening for wild trout from both a drift boat and wading.  Each evening you will be met at your campsite by our excellent outfitter, where you will be treated to a spectacular dinner and on the last evening an traditional Asado, this is an Argentine barbecue that consists of local beef, lamb, chorizo and vegetables.  After dinner you can sit by the river and enjoy a refreshing glass of Argentine wine or for the adventurist you can throw a line in the river and maybe catch that trophy trout!  Your accommodations are very comfortable with tent camps and comfortable bunk style beds.

  Following your three day float trip, you will be transported to Rio Manso Lodge located in the Nahuel Huapi National Park where you will be pampered for all your needs in this first class lodge.  Everything from gourmet meals, plush accommodations and even a masseuse on staff to stretch out those casting arm muscles.  Fly fishing At Rio Manso is nothing less than fantastic, you will experience a variety of fly fishing opportunities from pristine mountain lakes loaded with huge brown, rainbow and brook trout.  Hey, maybe you will even catch the Argentine Grand Slam, a brook, rainbow and brown trout from the same lake in the same day.  Also you will fish several beats of the Rio Manso, here you will have the opportunity to cast to large trout in a unique river situation.  After your day of fishing you are in for a treat as  our world class chef prepares traditional meals from local ingredients.  And, of course you can relax by the fire or sit out front of the lodge enjoying the scenery and your Argentine malbec wine.

Single supplement:  $200 per night

What's Included:
  Airport transfers, Lodging in single or double room with private bath, all meals including Argentine wines, beer  non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, laundry, internet, one guide per two anglers, fishing license and non-fishing guided activities.  Ground transportation to all fishing locations, all camping gear needed for the three day float trip.

What's Not Included:
  Airfare to Buenos Aires or Bariloche, transfer and hotel costs in Buenos Aires, personal expenses such as international telephone calls, gratuities, and massages.

How to Get there:
  Traveling to Argentina is not difficult, just easy overnight flight to Buenos Aires from several major U.S. Cities.  A two hour flight from Buenos Aires to Bariloche.  You will be met at the airport and a short drive to the lodge.

Documents Required:
  Citizens of the United States do not need a visa for tourist trips up to ninety days.  You will need a vaild passport and will have to fill out a landing card on arrival and you will be given a stamp for thirty, sixty or ninety days.  Staple your duplicate of the landing card into your passport, next to your entrance stamp, as you will need it to leave the country.
