General Information:  Fly Fishing in the shadow of the spectacular Andes Mountains for wild Rainbow and brown trout.
Discover the uncrowded and unspoiled Aisen Region of Chilean Patagonia!  The region is well known for it's spectacular wild and inspiring landscapes, world class fly fishing and warm hospitality.   With the Pacific Ocean bordering to the west and the majestic Andes to the east, this is truly a land of endless beauty.   The Andes Mountains bring to life a variety of fishing opportunities to include countless rivers, secret lakes and hidden lagoons all loaded with wild trout, and a few that hold some trophy monster trout!  The trout that inhabit these waterways are all wild trout that were introduced to the region during the 1800's.  These wild trout have not been influenced by any stocking program throughout their extensive generations.  The Chileans believe don't stock the existing trout population, yet instead preserve the resource where they live and the fish will thrive.  This philosophy has given the visiting angler the unbelievable opportunity to catch trout that are descendants of the original stockings.  You will definitely know the difference when you hook one of these powerful, athletic and amazingly beautiful trout!

Traveling to the Aisen region is something you will not soon forget, from your flight from Santiago to Coyhaique you will experience a myriad of landscapes. to include volcanoes, seascapes and of course the majestic Andes Mountains.  Once you arrive in the region you will be pleasantly surprised at the incredible hospitality of the local people.  They are willing and eager for you to experience their culture, food and local flavor!

Your day will begin with a hearty breakfast as your guides prepare for the day's fishing.  After breakfast your guide will meet you and you will travel to the endless fishing locations in the area.  Some of the local rivers are the Rio Simpson, Manhuelas, Rio Paloma, Rio Empreador Guillermo, and the secret lakes all loaded with monster rainbow and brown trout.  During your day your guide will prepare a sumptuous shore lunch with lot's of vino!  After your day of fishing you will have the opportunity to relax in the 10,000 square foot lodge with a large outdoor deck where you can enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail and share stories with fellow anglers of the day's catch.  Dinner is usually a very special time at the lodge as the chef prepares local ingredients into an amazing and unforgettable presentation.  After dinner, it's time to relax with some local music and plan for the next day's adventure.
