There is far more than warm weather awaiting you in Argentina.  You will be introduced to some of Argentina's and the world's best trout streams, just a few are the Malleo, Chimehuin, Collon Cura and many others.

Argentina is the second largest country in South America and it covers an area of over one million square miles.  The country is over 2,000 miles long and only 884 miles at it's widest point.  The terrain of the country is extremely varied with tropical jungles and rainforest in the north, the snow-capped Andes along the western border with Chile, and an ever-expanding glacier near its tip.

The ever present and spectacular natural beauty, including rivers, the majestic Andes Mountains, the lakes, the sky (and they call Montana Big Sky Country!), the forests, the wild flowers and prairies will overwhelm your senses.  There is abundant unique wildlife too, you might see condors, rheas, flamingos, wild geese, red stag and junacos, to name a few!  You will be wined and dined in the Argentine style, enjoying the famous homegrown beef, flavorful fruits and vegetables and of course the outstanding wines.

You may find, however, that the best part of the trip is the new friends you will make in Argentina.  The Argentine people live their lives at a slower pace than North Americans do, which takes some time getting used to, but once you make the adjustment you will definitely like it!  The people of Argentina are as varied as the terrain, with as many Italians as Spaniards, and equally people of various descent such as British, German and Japanese.  The official language is Spanish, but you will find that most speak English and are very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The Days starts a little later and end later in Argentina.  You generally will  not begin fishing until 9:30 or 10:00am, there is no need to rush to the rivers as you should have them all to yourself, with the exception of the Collon Cura where you might see two or three other rafts with fisherman.  You will fish until early evening most days, some 10 hours of fishing!

Argentina is famous for its high quality of Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout as well as Landlocked Salmon.  These fish live in optimum water conditions and are completely wild, they have no influence from hatchery or pen raised fish.  These attributes create healthy fish with amazing color and incredible fighting power.  the average size of the trout is about 16 inches, however this will change between individual waters, make no mistake, a trophy exists in every river or lake that we fish!  We fish delicate spring creeks, desert streams, secluded lakes and major rivers.
