Fly Fishing School
The Fly Fishing School consists of one evening at a local fly shop for an in-depth lecture about equipment selection followed by a full day of on-stream instruction.
The following topics are included during our on-stream fly fishing class:
- Equipment selection to include fly rods, reels, lines, leaders and tippet
- Entomology and fly selection
- Basic knots
- Fundamentals of fly casting
- Species of fish and behavior
- Reading water
- Line management
- Approaching fish
- Presentation of fly
- Hooking and landing fish
- Etiquette
More Advanced topics can be covered according to
individual experience level
